It was a beautiful day yesterday.  Sure there were clouds and wind and rain...but nothing would have stopped these two from proclaiming their love in front of all of their family and friends to become husband and wife.  Michelle's smile is infectious and Joe's go-with-the-flow personality puts everyone at ease making for a wonderful day for all.

Sacramento Senior Photography - On Her Way

I seriously can't believe I'm writing this blog post.  It seems like just yesterday this young lady was a precocious 4 year old in my kitchen and now she's a very successful high school senior.  It does not surprise me one bit that she has grown into an intelligent, thoughtful, kind, loving young woman.

Sacramento Family Photographer - Hoilday Portraits

Sometimes we shoot a leisurely session, we wander and shoot, wander and shoot and sometimes it's just about getting it done, accomplishing a family portrait for holiday cards, capturing the kids for gifts, etc. and this shoot was one of the latter.  After sick kids and rain outs we changed our original location and met on a Monday morning to get it done.  Problem is...they all turned out great...sorry now it's going to be tough to choose :)

Sacramento Family Photographer - Fun on the Ranch

What could be better than a couple of cute boys and a ranch with rocks and sticks and trees and horses...really, who needs toys at a place like this.  So we got to enjoy some time with the family while they enjoyed some time at their family's getaway ranch and, oh yeah, got some pretty great images of everyone along the way.
