Family

Family is definitely the priority for these folks - in business and pleasure. It is clear watching them together that they truly enjoy each other. I also know Heather on a professional level as a top-notch estate planning attorney who approaches her practice with maintaining family relationships as her #1 priority.

Daniel

We had a wonderful time photographing this young man for his senior portrait session. He was willing to try anything including a little rock climbing and wore every outfit his mom threw at him :)

Enjoy.

Race for the Cure

It was such an honor to be involved with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this year. We arrived bright and early to photograph the teams before the race and then captured some of the amazing people who have given their time, effort and money to help find a cure for breast cancer. A rally honoring survivors concluded the day and it was terrific to see so many people there to celebrate.

The event was moving in so many ways. I am committed to organizing a team for next year's race, so keep a look out next spring for details.

Baby Belly

I love the anticipation of pregnancy. And while I loved being pregnant, I love photographing pregnancy because I get to experience all of the anticipation of an impending life changing event without any of the morning sickness or sleepless nights. I also love how first pregnancies are different from second pregnancies. Adding a toddler to the pregnancy journey changes everything and adds a whole new dimension.

This family was a lot of fun to photograph and I'm not sure but I think big brother might just be headed for a career in photography :) He loved my camera - using it anyway.

Enjoy!

My New Boyfriend

This little guy was so sweet and so much fun to photograph. The best part of the shoot was the very, very sweet hug I got when we were parting ways.

Enjoy!

Mother's Day Surprise

I've been dying to post these images but had to wait until after Mother's Day. Approximately two months ago one of our good friends (in fact, the guy that introduced Jason and I) asked me to photograph his children as a Mother's Day surprise for his wife. He got her out of the house, dressed the kids and we headed down to the river. Isn't that so sweet and thoughtful? I can hear the aw's now.

A Very Special Day

We were so honored to be asked to capture this young man's first communion. It was a very special day for him and his family. Here is a sneak peek of some of the images. For this first one, we asked him to hold his rosary and I thought it was so sweet that he wanted to hold it just like his big brother (a high school junior) did for his first communion.

Girls, Girls, Girls

Twin toddlers, an adorable kindergardener, two loving parents and a beautiful yard - what more is a photographer to ask for. This first one is one of my very favorites.

Enjoy!

Boys, Boys, Boys

This shoot was so much fun! The boys were so cute and have so much personality. Jason has known the dad since childhood and, in fact Jason's mom and these boys' grandmother went to high school together. When we get to do shoots with long-time friends, it really reminds me of how fast time goes by and makes our job of preserving family memories that much more special.

Happy Mother's Day

I'm posting this slideshow for a client for a special mother's day surprise.

Enjoy!

Double Trouble!

The twins turn one! What a fun birthday party and what a sweet family.
