This event is always a great evening. Last year they had a Cher impersonator that brought the house down. This year, they played a little Komen Idol. All of your favorite Idol personalities were there, including the host Ryan (Edie Lambert) Seacrest. I do have to say that a few of the singers were "a little pitchy", but everyone had a great time and they sang their hearts out. As has been the case the last several years, Edie Lambert was the host for the evening. She has been a great ambassador for the Sacramento Valley chapter for years, and always has some touching stories that inspire the attendees. This year, along with her stories, she also announced to the crowd that she and her husband were expecting their first child.
