And Brother Makes Three

I love to watch families grow.  I'm always excited to be asked to photograph new additions and there's nothing sweeter than a new baby with their older siblings.  I especially love to photograph brothers - with two girls at home I don't often get the opportunity to watch boys interact - the mix of boyhood energy and sweetness is so fun to watch and capture.

Sacramento Newborn Photography - Oh Baby!

I was so excited to get the call that Brady had arrived!  And so honored to be invited to photograph him on his first day in this world.  I had to get a sneak peek up to share but look for a more images coming soon after we do their follow up session.

I just love shooting newborns - the wrinkles, the chubby arms and legs, the little fingers and toes - so sweet.  For newborns we often stop by the hospital just after they are born to capture those first few hours of life and then do a follow up shoot at home when everyone has had a chance to settle in.  We were able to do this with big brother and were honored to be able to capture those special moments for this newest little one too.

So cute, so sweet and so lovable.  I got to enjoy some time with this loving family and really enjoyed potographing their new son.  I even got the opportunity to photograph him with some special blankets and quilts made just for him.

Sacramento Newborn Photographer - Welcome Home

We are so, so excited for this family - and so happy they are part of our family.  There really is no way to describe all of the joys that come with parenting.  Sure there are difficult times but they only make all of the good ones shine that much brighter.  Here's to the future - the smiles that will melt your heart, the giggles that will make you laugh uncontrollably, the cuddles that will warm you forever...

Sacramento Newborn Photographer - Sweet, Sweet Girls

Our newborns sessions include a mini-session at the hospital or as soon after the birth as possible and then a follow up session a week or two later.  This allows us to capture wrinkly newborn fingers and toes and the first few days of a baby's life as well have a more well-rounded session when the family has had a chance to settle in with their new little one.
