Sacramento Maternity Photography - Anticipating Love

We were so honored when Jason's third brother (doesn't he look just like Jason) and his beautiful, beautiful wife allowed us to capture some maternity images as they wait for their baby girl.  It's such a fun time anticipating all of the changes that are about to come and looking forward to sharing love like only a parent can.

On the Way

Our neighbors contacted me via Facebook a few weeks ago to ask if I'd capture some maternity shots as they anticipate their new arrival. We decided to do the shoot in the park rather than their home and had so much fun! They are going to be wonderful parents and I can't wait to see them come home with the little on in tow.

Waiting, Anticipating

This mom contacted me a while back for a gift certificate for one of her good friends. Her good friend recently returned the favor for a birthday/baby-on-the-way gift. We had so much fun with the shoot capturing these two darling girls and Mom and Dad as they anticipate their new arrival. The girls even got a run through the sprinklers. Fun!

Waiting...Anticipating

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful family. I had so much fun with this mom, dad and their two boys. Little Gage was quite the ham while his older brother was a little more shy but I could feel the love an anticipation for the new addition..and yes, it's a girl.

Parenting Necessity #1 - Laughter

Probably the greatest skill a new parent can have is a great sense of humor - this couple has that one in the bag! Gerald cracks me up and Lizz is right there with him. They were so much fun to work with - I've never laughed so much during a maternity shoot. We did manage to get some "serious" shots too.

Any Day Now

It was such a joy to photograph Janelle and Greg as they await their first child. We photographed their wedding (our first ever) several years ago and nothing has changed - their love for each other (and their growing family) is so apparent it makes my job easy.

Baby Belly

I love the anticipation of pregnancy. And while I loved being pregnant, I love photographing pregnancy because I get to experience all of the anticipation of an impending life changing event without any of the morning sickness or sleepless nights. I also love how first pregnancies are different from second pregnancies. Adding a toddler to the pregnancy journey changes everything and adds a whole new dimension.

This family was a lot of fun to photograph and I'm not sure but I think big brother might just be headed for a career in photography :) He loved my camera - using it anyway.
